Chris studied at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, attaining a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. After graduation he worked at Diamond Aircraft before spending two years in South Korea. He then relocated to Barbados, joining DM Simpson in 2009.
During his time at DM Simpson, he has been responsible for the design, supply and installation of water pumping and treatment solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout Barbados and the region. He has been involved in both small and large-scale projects, working to provide water and power solutions with customers across many sectors including hotels and restaurants, residential developments, agriculture, building infrastructure services, food and beverage manufacturing, municipal water supply and treatment, pharmaceuticals, and municipal power supply. He has provided oversight for municipal mechanical installation projects including expansion of a desalination plant and the mechanical installation of the 33MW Clean Energy Bridge project for Barbados Light and Power Co.
Jeremy is a former Merchant Marine Engineering Officer and is a licensed Marine Engineer with over a decade of experience, working as an engineer on large commercial ships and sea going tugs conducting in international towage, search and rescue, salvage, firefighting, and port operations. He specializes in Diesel Power Generation in both high and low speed applications. He provides expertise in the fields of mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fabrication, rigging and heavy equipment operation.
Lewin Stoute is the senior Mechanical Engineer at DM Simpson. He completed his studies at Florida Tech, graduating in 2001. On returning to Barbados, he joined the team at DM Simpson where he has been serving our customers with dedication, determination and skill ever since.
His extensive technical knowledge and experience mean that when no one else can solve the problem, Lewin gets the call to find the solution!
